In 2018, our founder Tom Indrunas was struck by a series of tragic stories detailing hot car deaths—preventable accidents that shattered lives. He realized that while our cars were becoming smarter, they weren't becoming safer for the most vulnerable among us.

Tom Indrunas is a founder of Rescue Rangersᵀᴹ and one of the most accomplished engineers and entrepreneurs in his field. With over 20 years of experience as an electrical engineer at NASA, Tom brings a level of technical precision and innovative thinking that is simply unmatched. In 2008, Tom co-founded OEM — a company he built from the ground up and later evolved into a fully engineered, end-to-end entertainment solutions platform now operating under Infotainment.com. As R&D Team Leader, he didn’t just design products; he engineered complete systems that redefined how entertainment technology is delivered and experienced. Tom is also the creator of OBD Genie, as well as Buffalo Auto Brokers, further cementing his reputation as a serial innovator who turns complex technical challenges into elegant, real-world solutions. At Rescue Rangersᵀᴹ, Tom’s engineering DNA is woven into the foundation of the company. His passion for building systems that work — reliably, intelligently, and at scale — drives the technology and vision behind everything Rescue Rangers offers fleet owners and operators.
